Thank you to all who contributed to the very successful 3-day Flower Festival held at St Bernard’s Church in November. There were 52 displays produced by many people and organisations from around the Lingfield and East Grinstead area and local churches. It was a truly Community Event with plenty of visitors attending to enjoy the flowers.
Coinciding with Remembrance weekend, it was an opportunity to remember the dead, especially from the Two World Wars, with many ‘poppy’ themed arrangements. It is hoped to hold further Festivals in the years ahead as we were delighted to re- introduce the Flower Festival after about 30 years absence.
