St Bernard’s – Vicarage Rd, Lingfield RH7 6EZ

The original building of The Church of St. Bernard in Lingfield, Surrey, England began in April 1940 with the church dedicated to Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. The foundation stone for the present St. Bernard’s building was laid in 1957 and the new Church was built around the old hut with a parish hall built to the side of the church.

Accessibility

  • The church has power assisted doors and all a wheelchair accessible entrance.
  • Sunday Mass readings in large-print are available from the welcoming team.
  • A closed loop system is used during Mass which is accessible to hearing aids in the ‘T’ position.

Mass and Sacraments

Mass is usually on Wednesdays at 9.30am and Sundays at 9am.

Confession is offered on Wednesdays after the 9.30am Mass or, if you have an urgent need, on Sundays after 9am Mass.

You can always contact Fr Jack to arrange Confession at a time that suits you.

Adoration/Holy Hour is also available most Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Parking

Some parking is available outside of the church, however please leave these spaces for those with accessibility needs. The nearest car park is Gun Pit Road, a short walk from the church. Parking is free for up to three hours but you must display your ticket.
